Designed by Gherardi Architetti for Copatlife, a leading manufacturer of designer kitchens, the project is situated within a 1,500-square-metre section of an industrial building and organises the space through an experiential dimension, where architecture and design are intrinsically linked.
An administrative area comprising offices, meeting rooms and a reception has been set up on the main façade of the structure; beyond this lies the heart of the building, which unfolds into a visual and sensory journey. This is the hangar, a multidisciplinary space housing an exhibition area equipped with a fully functional kitchen suitable for demonstrations and show cooking; the Pavillon, a versatile multifunctional space that can serve as an auditorium, a photography set, a screening room or a workshop; the Hospitality area and a lounge dedicated to clients; as well as an ever-evolving editorial space dedicated to corporate communication materials.
The hangar is about encounter, connection and cross-pollination, building empathy with the markets and the world every day.
A comprehensive project that also included the redesign of the outdoor area, where lighting, materials and geometric principles create an image that is expressive and consistent with the company’s philosophy.
