In architecture, the analysis of technical and design efficiency has led to the construction of high-performance buildings in which the building envelope plays a central role: no longer just a boundary surface, but an aesthetic, protective, and functional element. This approach has been transferred to the kitchen space, giving rise to an evolved envelope. The 4.1 door, the result of research and experimentation, is conceived as an intelligent and technological skin, featuring an internal aluminum honeycomb structure and an external cladding that defines its aesthetic identity. The knurled profile running along the entire perimeter characterizes its rigorous and essential design.
From this study emerges a kitchen defined by pure lines and meticulous detailing, capable of responding to contemporary needs for essentiality and technology. Alongside it, functional accessory elements have been developed, such as Foomo, a freestanding module for appliances, distinguished by open compartments with a luminous back panel, and Server, a geometric sideboard available in various configurations and finishes. The project is completed by Sliding, a sliding worktop that makes the kitchen surface flexible and adaptable.
4.1 is a kitchen project that brings together architecture, functionality, and aesthetic research within a coherent and contemporary system.
